Blog Post #5: Plants vs. Zombies

So did i seriously have to waste my time with this game? At first i had to assume that this game was special in one way or another since it was a blog assignment. I don't know if it was just me but there was nothing special or interesting about this game. The strategy behind this game is juvenile, the graphics aren't special, and in the modern day neighborhood portrayed in the game all i could think of was how their would be potential for enjoyment of this game if i had a real weapon. I may be bias because I play call of duty and kill zombies with large assault riffles in a game with great graphics and audio access to my fellow gamers but I still do not understand how anyone over the age of 14 could find enjoyment in this game.

Just to make matters worse, there was advertisement after every level.....every level! This is just unattractive to me and contributes to my dislike of this online game. I play a few random games online and there are advertisements because thats what the internet has come to these days. The difference is that they appear before you play the game and thats the only time an ad is presented to the viewer. Overall, I just do not understand the appeal of this game. I would love to see the demographics of its users.
