Youtube and Hulu

Youtube and Hulu are both outlets for getting your online video fix. Almost like google, Youtube is a site I go to when I'm not sure what specifically I'm looking for. It is a space for discovering old videos, original works and watching things that have just aired (most likely being filmed off a TV). Hulu on the other hand is a space for finding a specific programs that I either missed when it originally aired or seeing a new series for the first time.

The youtube video that I watched was a clip of Derrick Rose making a circus shot against the celtics last week. I actually watched this clip the night of the game, which is a testament to how fast the youtube community is willing to uploading videos. Even though the quality was not perfect, it fulfilled what I wanted. Hulu on the other hand is self admittedly commercial based and focuses on advertisements. The Hulu viddeo I watched was the entire Daily Show episode last night. I had to wait while advertisements were put up every commercial break but It was still much quicker than watching it in real time.
