Well, I haven't posted about BabyU in quite sometime. This is mostly because not much has actually been happening on BabyU.
One of the frequent commentators actually created a thread saying that it was so quiet, and asking if everyone was ok. Several responded (most of the regulars, Karen, Grace, etc.). It turns out that Spring is a a very busy time for mothers (according to them anyway). Most of the users were consumed with end of the year activities and school functions. Recitals, art shows, fairs, and graduation ceremonies were keeping everyone pretty busy. It also appears that work caused a lot of users to check out during the spring for awhile.
Grace posted something about grilling in the spring time that many users responded too. It seems that users were starting to take advantage of the nice weather to spend time with their families.
I have certianly learned that the users of BabyU don't sit around on the computer all day long. Quite the contrary, they are all very busy folks, caring for their family, working and spending time with friends. Family is obviously very important to them, and it appears that online relationships take a back seat compared to these (as one would expect). These avid internet users are very different from other avid users in that respect. Their online relationships will always be secondary to their personal ones.
I guess it makes perfect sense, but it's really interesting to see how online activity is affected by things like the weather... I'm glad to hear that all the regulars are okay!
