I had tried ChatRoulette a few times with friends in the past, but I had never really sat down and used it for myself. So I decided to take a spin. As others have noted, their was a lot of nudity. I can't quite understand how people have enough free time and motivation to just do that all day... Once you have a steady finger on the Next button though, you can chat with a little more confidence.
The toughest thing is finding a meaningful conversation. It feels good when I press Next on people I find creepy or weird but it hurts sometimes when people just do it to me right away. However I did have a few good chats with a few different people. It was interesting to try to find things in common. I tried sitting in front of different posters in my room to intrigue people. Bob Marley seemed to pique the most interest.
A final thing I enjoyed about ChatRoulette is how easy it allows you to chat with people in other countries. In the span of 10 minutes I talked to people in Brazil, England, Korea and more. It's crazy how easy it is to talk and see complete strangers on the other side of the globe!
All in all ChatRoulette is kinda fun if you are bored and get by the creepers.
