One thing I would like to mention is how the easiness of seeing if anyone replied to your comments or posted on the same thread varies through the three websites.
For instance, BrewCrewBall is by far the easiest. As you can see in the two pictures below, underneath posts is the number of comments AND how many new comments there are. And, if you go to a users profile page, it shows comments written by the user and how many replies there were to them.


On ProSportsDaily, it is more of a traditional forum, which shows the number of comments, but not how many replies there have been to you or how many new comments have been written, though it does say when the last post was posted.

I'm guessing most of us have seen facebook statuses, etc so I won't post a picture, but it only shows the number of comments.
One other thing I would like to mention is how easily viewed the comments are. On BrewCrewBall, all the comments are on one page, and easily scrollable with tiered levels for replies to various comments. On ProSportsDaily, there are no tiers, though there is a quote function. Also, on PSD, there are several pages of comments that a user often has to click through. And, on facebook, only the two most recent comments are shown, though a person can click to view the rest.
