After class yesterday I headed home and quick pulled out my computer to check various things on the internet before heading to work. I work at a restaurant so once at work I was in contact with the computer systems that are involved with recording our time at work, placing and sending orders, making credit card transactions, and totaling our sales/tips/etc. After work, I had to stop at a library to finish a paper and send it to the printer to print off. When back at home later that night, I was on my computer again to browse the internet and waste some time before bed. The last thing that I did was use my phone to set my alarm for the next morning. (Although, I did use my phone throughout the night to make phone calls/text). I guess it does seem pretty interesting the amount of computerized things you do use when you list them all down and this was just in one night. Tallying everything for a week would be even more crazy!

Blog #7
So when thinking about the word "computerized," I first kinda needed to figure out what exactly that meant. Initially, I was like, ok, yeah I use my computer every night, doesn't everyone? But then the more technical term for computerized really incorporates the idea of a system that is operated or controlled by a system. All of a sudden, this blog assignment just became a little bit more difficult then documenting my computer usage. Computerized objects go beyond that and I utilized many things in just a single night.
