I’m presenting tomorrow with Andrew on Collective Intelligence on the Internet. I am currently looking at specialized information sites, which are basically how-to sites. These sites allow users to follow instructions, ask question, and answer other users questions based on the chosen topic. For my practicum project I am looking at knitting information sites. The website that I am using has a forum is really cool because users are constantly posting questions, pictures and answering others questions. Knowledge is constantly being passed along on in this knitting community website.
Here is a question to consider:
Are collective intelligence sites the best way to obtain knowledge on the Internet?
