Blog #4- Googling Myself

I remember that I 'Googled' myself a while ago, but didn't recall what came up. I was surprised with the results this time. My first hit was a link to Wiz Khalifa's Facebook page. Interestingly I just started following WK on Twitter, but I'm not convinced that it's related. Because there are many people who have my last name as a first name, there are a lot of contacts to sort through. I am not "a fan" of WK on Facebook so I doubt that it was from me, but it is interesting to think about.

Just to see what would happen, I put quotes around my full name and came across two 'Jared Felix' Facebook pages but neither of them were me. The fifth link down was finally me. It is my twitter account that I made for Comm. 272.

When I looked under images I was surprised to see a picture of me from freshman year in high school. I don't even remember the picture being taken, but it is tagged on Webshots by someone who went to my high school.....weird...There was also the picture that I use for Twitter, but that is to be more expected. Under the video section I found nothing close to me, just some high school wrestling matches, and trust me I'm no wrestler.

I found that getting more specific by putting UW, my hometown, or past jobs did not increase my search results. I guess for now I'm still living under the Google radar!
