So more information about the NRDC...as Earth day came and went, the NRDC offered suggestions for "40 Extraordinary Green Gifts" as ideas that people could give. Amongst some of these ideas were how to protect wildlife by becoming a buffalo babysitter, educate kids on green practices, or go on a photo safari in Yellowstone National Park! All you have to do is choose a category that interests you or the gift recipient, pick a gift, your friend or loved one receives a free card, and then your gift helps to save the planet. Voila! The price ranges from $15 to $5000 for the photo safari. Seems kinda crazy right? Well, the $5000 is anyways, but the smaller gifts are a perfect way to show the world your appreciation as well as a close friend. Also, the gifts are tax-deductible, so that's kinda sweet! The NRDC is making is so easy to kill two birds with one stone (not literally, of course!) from these pretty incredible opportunities. It also is encouraging people to really look into the many areas around the world that truly do need our support.
