Plants V Zombies

I really like playing simple flash games like these--they are great time killers and fun to do when bored. This one was no different, it was all very straight forward and implemented many of the same strategies as similar types of games: Build up to get better weapons, which will help against stronger enemies, but will cost more to implement.

This game was pretty damn easy, though. I didn't struggle to beat any level; I didn't lose once, and only lost one of my plants 3 or 4 times, usually when I accidentally planted them too close to the "front lines" so to speak. I'm assuming it was made for people of a younger age than me, but it was still fun to play, and I won all the way through the second level before it said that I needed to get the full game to continue.

I was sort of tempted to try and find the full version, though I wouldn't want to pay for it, because it did seem like it might build into a greater challenge. Of course, even though I spent plenty of time finishing what I could, I'm already beginning to think about how boring such a simple concept really is. That being said, I enjoyed playing it, which leads me to believe that well it is fun when it's new and fresh, after a while it would get extraordinarily boring.

The advertisements were interesting, too. I had never had them come up in the middle of games before, but it seems like a good strategy for sites to implement in order to assure maximum viewing of the ads. Unless the viewer had ad-block on, like me, and didn't see anything but the countdown until the next level began.
