Practicum Post 3- Presentation

Hey Guys,

I had a lot of fun putting together the presentation with my group members, and think you will really enjoy it. The Internet Users and Audience topic is a little bit different than the presentations that have been done thus far. Instead of solely focusing on a specific website, online community, or virtual gaming world, we were able to bring together all three modes and think more broadly about the people who actually use these internet services. By thinking about these projects in that way, I think we all were able to gain insight on the people using the sites we looked at, the Seniors, the Tweens, and the Jews. Interestingly, the two age groups encompass Jews as a minority group, and can fit in both the Senior and Tween group.

I'm still exploring the different groups I can be a part of on Eons, and that is what I will continue to do in hopes of finding a wider range of people on the site. It'll be exciting to see what I find, and will update those findings.

Back to tomorrow, for our presentation I will give you a question to think about during the day before we present: Has the shift from specific online users to a more diverse group enhanced online experiences?
