So, I just spent about a half an hour on gleeforum.com. I haven't participated in the forum in a little while because the show has been on hiatus, so forum participation has been lacking a little bit. I went on the site tonight because I thought that there would be some discussion about the new episode that is being aired tomorrow, but there actually wasn't. I spent my time on the website replying to other peoples' posts, responding to polls, and uploading some fan collages.
On the site, fans are also interested in what people think about the actors and actresses that play the characters on the show. Dianna Agron (Quin on the show) is in a new movie, and members of the forum are interested in if people are going to see the movie ("I am Number Four"). I posted a reply saying that although I do love Dianna, I don't think that I will be seeing the movie because it is supposed to be AWFUL!! I want to see if people because defensive if they are really supportive of Dianna.
I also participated in a "mature" discussion (for members 18 and older only). The content of this discussion topic was pretty amateur (a lot of questions about who you would rather kiss, etc). There was some more explicit content, but not much member participation in this. Members also participate in the "would you rather" game, which I found entertaining.
I also posted my first fan photo tonight (above). I haven't created any of my own fan collages yet, but I hope to do that in the near future. I've received a few responses to my posts, but still haven't created any real bonds with other members. Most members are only focused on posting their own content, rather than focused on making relationships with other forum members. There's a new episode airing tomorrow, so I'm sure that there will be some exciting new content after!! I'll keep you all posted...
